C.A.R.E. Project (Conscious, Amigos, Recycling for the Environment)

Care project Oleu Life Essential Oils Australia

Living mindfully and choosing environmentally friendly practices are important choices we can make for the long-term health of our planet. The seemingly small practice of recycling can impact hugely on our ecosystem.

As an environmentally conscious brand, it is our responsibility to ensure our products are disposed and recycled correctly. And we want to encourage others to join us in closing the loop to minimise waste for a healthier planet.

To accomplish our environmental goal and make an impact on the planet, we have established the C.A.R.E. Project. The C.A.R.E. Project stands for ‘Conscious Amigos Recycling for the Environment’ and involves becoming more environmentally friendly and ethical in our production processes and operations.

The first step of our CARE Project is to create an effective process of recycling Oleu Life bottles. If you want to be involved in the first part of this initiative, we are asking you, our customers, to return Oleu Life bottles to us for correct disposal. In return, we are offering 20% off for every 3 bottles brought back to us.

Simply find us at your local markets and we will have a drop-off box for your empty bottles.

Our bottles & packaging

Only 8% of plastic gets recycled and on average plastic bottles can take 450 years or more to degrade. Glass is much easier to recycle as it is made of sand and can be melted down to create new glass. Our bottles are made of a Miron Violate glass, an easy to recycle material.

Cardboard is another important material to recycle. For every tonne of recycled paper used, we are saving 13 trees from deforestation and minimising water use. This is why we use recycled material in our delivery packaging. By reconstituting pieces of cardboard and remaking them into shipment boxes we are doing our small part for the planet.

As we grow as a brand we will continue to develop our CARE Project to set bigger goals and find new ways of minimising the environmental impacts of production.
